I'm a girl who holds on to dreams like a tattered blankie. Don't know if I'll ever grow out of it. I'm planning a big move in a year, so in the meantime I'm looking for a few laughs, and some unpredictable fun. As a typical Canadian, I think it's easier for me to define myself by what I'm not. I'm not a girl who wants a mortgage, children, and a car. I am a girl who thinks she is healthy (mentally and physically) and enjoys good conversation just as much as she enjoys silence. I think farts are funny (as long as they're not SBDs). I sometimes read for pain (trying to work my way through Ulysses), but mostly for pleasure. I have an immense respect for the elderly. Today I thought Brimful of Asha might actually be my favourite song. Yesterday I thought it was If Venice is Sinking. It could perhaps be Springtime in Vienna, because I do believe that we live to survive our paradoxes. Or Sisters of Mercy. Or the New World Symphony. Or Patience. Or Tuesday's Gone. Or Downtown (Petula Clark). I like music.

For a first 'ideal' date, I would require a coin - heads or tails type of thing. We'd walk around the city (or wherever we may be) and whenever we'd reach a crossroads, we'd flip the coin to find out which direction to go in. Maybe when we pass a cafe, we go in. Maybe not. The coin can also come in handy for dares, scratching lottery tickets, and giving change to the homeless.
