About me...I'm a native of DC, have been living in Maryland for about 5 years now. Live on my own, working and in and out of school (just finished an Associate degree in culinary arts, and just starting my Bachelor's degree in social science/sociology in October...completely different degree programs, but it all comes together in the wonders of my mind.). I love music of all kinds (it is one of the few things that keeps me going), singing, cooking, photography (more of an interest than a perfected hobby). My Rock is Jesus, next to Him is family. Whether it was naturally put in me at birth, or whether it was developed from how I grew up, I have a gift (curse, the descriptor tends to vary depending on the situation) for wanting to care for people. This has created a few (or more than a few) life lessons over the years, so call it a gift/curse in development. My interests in life center around helping people who are less fortunate, particularly of the homeless community...Thoughts on that objective are developing and re-developing with the times and the situations.

An in-the-hopefully-near-future goal of mine is to start traveling more, see what lies beyond PA, MD, DC, and VA...so someone who likes to travel would be a great plus...I think that's more about me than probably needs to be introduced in an About Me section. Should have just summed it up by saying I'm honest, sincere, bluntly real, and compassionate...Anyway, below is the original profile message, which describes what I look for in you (the Potential Mr. Right dude...yeah, you have a pet name already...cute)...

Not interested in games, not interested in superficial, don't want unChristian, don't want financially irresponsible, don't want "I don't have a dream," don't want to just hear "you're so sexy," don't want a sex buddy, don't want materialistic or superficial, will not tolerate a smoker...but...I...do want sincere, do want someone who loves God, do want someone who can take care of himself and his family, do want someone who always has goals in life (realistic and attainable ones), do want someone who is compassionate about more than himself, do want someone who is family-oriented, do want someone who is strong, patient, committed, dedicated, loyal, honest, trustworthy, dependable...And you have to know how to give a good massage and a good hug.
