I enjoy films, books, chess and conversation. I like good food, the quiet of nature, the solitude of just watching the ocean, fine art, a clever joke and the beauty and softness of a woman's body.

I am a writer who also has a day job at a studio.

I am seeking a woman who likes to read, and think, who has a mind that is sophisticated enough to know that communication is the key. I would like to find someone to share the good parts of life while learning new things and experiences along the way, someone who is on my side (most of the time).

First dates can be anything so long as both people are comfortable. Coffee, lunch, a bookstore jaunt are all acceptable. And then just hope that there's the illusive chemistry. I personally believe "chemistry" is somewhat overrated - and easy to overlook if it's not an immediate tingly feeling.

But I imagine many may disagree.
