About Me
I like seeing new things and meeting new people. My most memerable year was spent traveling around the world with just a backpack. I like to read although still haven't finished Dostoyevsky's The Brothers Karamazov - only 300 pages to go. I enjoy going to the cinemas that serve pizza and beer, or watching movies at home on the couch. I love cooking, when other people do it, and going out to eat. Sharing a meal is one of lifes simpler pleasures. I enjoy good conversation and staying informed, though not into main-stream media. I like the usuals here in the Northwest, hiking, biking, skiing, beaching. For socializing I go out dancing and am comfortable with most dance styles and venues.
I'm honest and not afraid of intimacy. Believe this a unique place, earth that is, and it should be treated as such. I'm only here for a little while and enjoy sharing the journey with others. Not sure where we go afterwards and am a little confused by those who are - I mean I've never seen anybody with photos of the beyond. Maybe they don't have cameras there, which means they probably don't have cell phones either. And if they don't have cell phones, I can't think of any woman I know who would want to go there. I mean the reception above the clouds ought to be great, so why wouldn't someone call just to say hi. Hell is a different story. The reception from Hell is probably lousy, so perhaps there are cell phones in Hell, it's just the signal can't get through earths' upper mantle. (By the way, if you are from another planet, I think it would be great to have coffee as I've never met a real Alien. I'm sure Aliens' have cell phones.)
So I'm not ruling out the chance of there being a beyond, life on other planets, or that we should ever meet. It's just I'm not sure which has the highest probability of being true.
First Date
First date, how exciting!!! For the first date I prefer a mutually comfortable public place to meet for desert, coffee and pastry, or tea. Maybe a drink, but that would be one drink - you can have more if you like but I won't. Not sure I would even call it a date, rather casual meet-up to see if we wanted to go on a real date. A real first date may be going out for a movie, or perhaps a nice dinner.
