I'd really like to start out by introducing myself. My name is Dana, and I wanted to tell you my name up front, because I am very intimidated by blind e-mails because no one puts their names on here and I don't know what to call anyone!

Yes I have kids, yes they are grown. I love kids though, and am pretty good with them, mostly because I still remember how to play and have fun, so if you have children or grandchildren that are important in your life, I understand the time you have to dedicate to them.

I love to be outdoors, taking long walks, feeding the ducks at the park, fishing, picnics. I just like to be outside in the sunshine. Rumor has it that I'm solar powered!

I love to laugh and to hear the laughter of others. I like to be around folks that have a positive outlook on life. I don't have time for that glass half full/half empty crap. I say grab the glass, drink it down and pour another!

I would like to find someone interested in starting out as friends and letting things grow from there. What does it really hurt to take the time to get to know someone? Even if you if you don't make a love connection, when you walk away, if you walk away with a new friend, are you not richer than you were when you started?
