In the last year, I have spent lots of time traveling (recently in Eastern Europe) and I have caught the travel bug. My job gives me time to do that (I really love my job). I have been into rock climbing for the last 5 years, and as a result, most of my weekends and holidays have been spent at various climbing areas around North America and the world (Turkey, Thailand, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, and Red Rocks Las Vegas to name a few). Now I think that it is time to take up some new hobbies (even though I will still climb and travel). This winter I want to get involved in cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing. I also really enjoy riding my bicycle and try to commute mostly on it. Being active and in shape is an important part of my life.

My other passion is listening to music. I really enjoy Canadian rock/indie/other genres, so I attend gigs around Vancouver in the various venues for the simple enjoyment of the music. I also try to go to whatever music festivals I can. I usually get out to Sasquatch, Rifflandia and Bumbershoot every year. I do not enjoy going to the club though. My work schedule is pretty regular, so I usually have my evenings and weekends free (except when I volunteer at the SPCA).

I am looking for a person who is also physically active and who can hold a stimulating conversation, whether it is talking about politics, the environment, music or teaching me about something entirely new. With all I have said about being active, I also need someone to hunker down with for a good cuddle.

Some personality quirks:
- If you try to talk about Hockey or reality shows with me, I might stare back at you blankly.
- I spontaneously fix things.

A first meeting would involve drinks or coffee and getting to know each other. If there is chemistry, then the second meeting would be a date where we could have fun and do something adventurous.
