Hello all. I am interested in trying this. I have heard nice things from friends. I am a university professor that lives in northern California.
I have been told that one of my strong qualities is my sense of humor. I believe it does make life a bit easier. One of the most interesting things I have done recently is done some stand up comedy. I did some shows and open mics in Boston. I loved it! If this whole doctorate in Theology doesn't work, I can always fall back on the more stable profession of stand up comic!
Seriously, I am a kind, loving person who tries to live a life of integrity and compassion. I love all types of music. I enjoy playing my guitar...but not professionally (I did get payed once to stop playing...does that count?!)...
Ok, well enough for now.....

My experience has been that if the 'chemistry' is there...everything if fun. If it is not...no 'super-date' is going to make it happen. That being said, I like the thought of going to a nice dinner/lunch. I also like doing something a bit different...maybe a museum or even the zoo. I also love bowling...yea, I know, I know...but I do love it! Finally, I love going to comedy clubs. I think that having a similar sense of humor...or at least appreciation for the other persons sense of humor is key.
