I enjoy traveling more than anything else - it gives me the opportunity to see the world, learn about other cultures, try new "adventures", and just relax and have a good time. From one of my many travel adventures I've learned that I love kayaking. Unfortunately, traveling can get expensive, so when I'm saving up for my next trip, I like to read, try new recipes, spend time with friends and family, go to movies, and a lot of other things.
Currently I'm finishing up my masters degree and am looking forward to the future and getting settled into a career. Eventually I'd like to become the Executive Director of a non-profit organization that helps others - like the Red Cross.
I've never been that good at talking about myself, but I'll do my best. I'm honest, caring (sometimes too honest and too caring), resourceful, cute, funny, passionate, trustworthy, and a good communicator. Seeing as I'm finishing up my masters degree, that would make me intelligent - but not just book smart, people smart and street smart too. However, logic has never been my strong point. I tend to act more on feelings than on logic and reason. I'm independent and at times I have trouble saying "no" to people. I can be stubborn at times. I have goals in life that I know I can achieve if I put my mind to it. Maybe my confidence, determination, and independence are the reasons I'm still single? Don't let it intimidate you!
When it comes to music I listen to just about anything. What I don't listen to includes: metal and "twangy" country. I enjoy singing and was in a band as a vocalist several years ago.
Some random things about me:
I've never caught a fish.
I only eat scrambled eggs that I make. No other eggs.
I've never given blood because I hate needles.
I like trying to do crafts (knitting, painting, etc.) but I'm really not that crafty! Photography is one thing though that I love and think I'm kind of good at.
I've held a baby alligator.
My favorite color is pink, but sometimes I get sick of pink and it's blue or green. All depends on my mood I guess!
