I love music. I listen mostly to rock, but some jazz as well, and still like going to see live music. About once a month I get together with friends and play music with them, either in my apartment or in a studio. We're not very good but it's a lot of fun.

I also love to read and collect books, primarily fiction. I always have a book in my hand or in my bag. I've also recently developed an interest in photography and love browsing the books in the Strand's photo section.

I like to go to museums and theater. I have tickets for the NY Giants and Rangers and go to a lot of games.

I'm fit and go to the gym regularly, although I can't say that I enjoy working out. I do enjoy bike-riding, golf and bowling.

I do like getting out of the city every now and then, but I really love NYC. I've lived here since starting law school here in '77 and I can't imagine living anywhere else. I still walk around the city like a tourist, looking at buildings, discovering little hidden streets or alleys that I never noticed before, constantly amazed at all that goes on around us on the streets of New York.

I have a very close family and am blessed that I have a great group of long-time friends that live in and around NY. And most importantly, I'm a very devoted father of two teenage girls (19 and 16)and I try to spend as much time with them as I can.

On a first date the most important thing is to spend time talking to see if you are compatible with the person you are meeting, so I prefer to have dinner or drinks in a somewhat quiet place that allows conversation.
