Long time island girl and fairly adventurous, I am looking for that long-term relationship that I'm finally ready for with an honest, sincere, gentle man who has a witty sense of humour. I believe that true love comes from a committed friendship; one that develops over time. As best friends we might not always get along but we will always respect one anoher. I have learned this from my best friend through 20 years of friendship. I love being around children and as a result I am a teacher in the local district. I have one boy (who will always be the love of my life) and would love to have another. If you have one that would be fine as well. I love cooking and am good at it! I am by no means a vegetarian but I enjoy cooking everything from Gazpacho to spinach gnocci to a kickass rib-eye on the BBQ and a fresh garden green salad - of course with red wine! I also love eating but don't look like it. I am thin but soft, curves are nice. You are fit but not obsessed with your body. I try to stay healthy through nutrition, rest, joy, and hiking. I believe that to be completely healthy you must have a balance in your life.

I have been online once before, found someone for over two years but alas...didn't work. I'm skeptical but hopeful. While I don't believe I overembelish anything about myself online, I think it is easy to do so. Which is why I'm looking for integrity and honesty. I have never been married, would like to, or not...depending upon how it goes, if it seems important -everything will come as it may, the universe has a funny way of providing. I am not a party girl, have been done with the bars for a long time now but an occasional visit to the pub for a pint and some wings can be fun.
