I'm a 25 year old mechanical engineer, spend my work days on industrial machinery, but I'm also a big music and movie buff. I play a few instruments, primarily bass and acoustic guitar, but also some electric guitar, keyboard and drums.

I watch a lot of movies, I've currently rated over 800 on netflix. Some of my favorites are the big lebowski, pi, city of god, snatch, and death to smoochy, among hundreds of others.

I love beer, it is truly the nectar of the gods. I brew my own on occasion, last one I made was a dunkelweiss which turned out a little overcarbonated but still tasty. Some of my favorite beers: Stone Imperial Russian Stout, Shlenkerla Smoke beer, sierra nevada IPA, Red Seal Ale, Cricket Hill Hopnotic and Schmaltz Albino Python.

I'd say the most important thing to me in a woman in her intellect, someone who's actually witty and can carry on a decent conversation. As the saying goes, you can get by on charm for about 15 minutes. After that, you better know something.

Hmm... the site suggests talking about my hobbies so I guess beyond the music, movies and beer I also own a pool table and enjoy playing 9 ball, I love playing poker (it's not gambling it's a game of skill), I like photography (have a Nikon D80), and you know, sometimes after work I just feel like lying in bed playing video games. It happens, I can't be exciting every day.

Also, there's no need to say you enjoy having fun and laughing. No one ever says they enjoy being bored and miserable.

I think a good first date would just be hanging out at a diner, get some food and coffee and have a good atmosphere to chat a lot and get to know each other.
