My name is Kate if you didn't realize that from my user name.
I'm 20 years old, though I've been told I act much older.
I currently go to SMU, switching over from a History degree to a Biology degree. (Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE history however.. I like to learn about what I WANT to learn about.. being forced to learn history was taking the fun out of it.)
When I'm done with Biology I want to take Zoology, work in a Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre helping animals.
With that being said, my favourite animal of all time is a SLOTH I think they're super cute and they don't get enough attention. However in a close second is bunnies.. I just think they're awesome.
I love make-up not just.. wearing make up to 'make you look pretty' I'm into fashion and stage make-up. I love the bright colours of it.
I'm freshly inked as on the beginning of december.. its not completely finished yet.. i picked my first tattoo to basically be a half sleeve (because obviously i didnt know what i was getting into) now its all outlined and i need colour :)

Hobbies.. hmm.
I use to play professional level darts I played for the Nova Scotia team 4 times. Probably seems lame to all of you but I enjoyed it and have seen parts of Canada I probably wouldn't have. Also the friends I've made during that experience are friends I still talk too and are awesome.

I'm a complete gaming nerd. I love playing video games, also I enjoy board games and card games too hah. My favourite video game series is Final Fantasy I don't care who knows. Final Fantasy 7? yeaaaaah one of the best games probably ever. Followed close by Kill Zone and any Mortal Kombat game.

Now, something that tends to be a good conversation starter music. I love all kinds of music. Some of my favourite bands include (but are not limited too..) Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance (but none of that 'Black Parade' stuff),Blink 182, Brand New, Metric, Escape The Fate, Cobra Starship, The Academy Is, Paramore, Death Cab For Cutie, Elliot Smith, Iron & Wine, Linkin Park, Jimmy Eat World.. Basically I don't really listen to country music unless I'm with my grandparents, and at work the radio station is always on that Kool Fm and I work a lot so.. I try and get all my favourites in between. I also listen to rap music but I won't put down all the ones I like here to bore you :)

I'm not a bar star, I never will be a bar star. I'm not saying that I don't enjoy going out from time to time but I'll never be the girl stumbling around downtown Halifax at 330am drunk as a skunk. If you're looking for an over the top party girl, you should move on because I don't see myself going that route... ever. :) I'm really not trying to be mean but I enjoy pubs WAY more then bars anyhow :)
