The way I see it, to be successful at most anything you attempt it's critical to have a good foundation. Without good solid source material or good reference the higher or more complex you build the more unstable and endangered. Doesn't matter if you're building a 1942 Ford roadster (yay hot-rods) or trying to create a lasting intimate relationship.

I've come to a point in my life where I'm very happy with me and all my many strengths and all my many not-so-strengths. I look back on my life and see all the hard work I've put into me and my life and building a solid very fun very cool foundation that i can securely build on. I want something bigger than 'just me', though being me can often be just about all I can handle *wink*.

I want to create this new dimension by meeting someone with whom I have a connection, someone that sparks my interest and then...we take our time, and enjoy the chemistry and the process and maybe hopefully enjoy each other's kiss:) It takes time to build a healthy ground of trust & mutual respect; I want to allow for that to grow naturally.

I know who I am, and I know also that I don't know all of me yet and I like that. Discovering all that I am is joyful and I don't want that process to end, I want it to be a lifelong pleasure. I'm a very sensitive, emotionally focused person who tries to communicate my feelings and my fears and my hopes best I can; though I'm not always successful. I live by a high moral code, I believe in treating people with respect and compassion. I'm very honest, loyal and dependable; when my friends are in a jam I'm that guy they call cuz I'll do what I can to help and I can do a lot.

I'm a very real person, very authentic and genuine; it shows in my smile. I like to laugh, and make jokes of a very sarcastic wit. I'm very very imaginative and creative which is a great help for my art and music which is a huge focus and the rock upon which I lean in my life. Art has always been there in my memory, as long as I can remember I've made art.

I'm an emotionally connected independent person. I love cuddling and little kind gestures, I love being physically connected to someone with whom I have a strong emotional connection. I also like being my own person, and I think it's very sexy to see my special someone being their own person as well.

What I'm looking for in a woman is a person who is grounded and spiritual, someone who's introspective and fun. I'd like you to be secure in who you are and enjoy expressing that person. A well developed woman with goals and plans and who enjoys life and can laugh at nothing with me and then turn around and continue whatever crazy intelligent conversation we we're having.

I'm a bit of a nerd, I like shiny things that do fancy stuff like computers and flying cars and video games (I don't game very often anymore though) and learning how things work; I like fantasy movies and lots of cartoons. Actually, I absolutely love Love love Animation. Oh my do I ever love animation. Not the obsessive scary 40 Year Old Virgin 1 bazillion DVD collection scary love, no this is more the deeply abiding eternal love. I also like new things and experiencing or checking out what my partner likes.

I'm high energy, passionate about near everything I do or attempt to do; I also work very hard at what I do but still take lots of time for me. I also have a low tolerance for boredom: a good person for me will have lots of energy and passion. I like to stay at home and relax too, I find I have cycles with going out and being active and being less active and more chill-like.

I'm a confident strong personality but I can still be shy about certain situations or about expressing certain aspects of me. I'd like a person who is also confident but still has a soft side and is okay with being vulnerable around me as I'll be open and vulnerable with you. I'm a very open person, I very much enjoy deep self-disclosing intimate conversations and connections with people. It'd be really good if you're someone who likes deep worlds of wonder and imagination as well.

I like calculated risks, I'm not going to make a homemade parachute and test in on a parabolic flight for my first jump ever; But I would totally decide in the moment to sign up for a reputable skydiving weekend! I love spontaneity, but I temper this with a very developed sense of responsibility and looking out for my future. We all wear so many different hats depending on the situation. Depending on my situation, sometimes I wear fancy suits or my BatMan cape ... O_o

I want a life of adventure and freedom, but one that is grounded and tempered with stability and having someone as special and wonderful as me to share and explore all life has to offer. Let's go dancing (love love dancing and I'm very good at it) and to the theatre with our friends and lets have fun design-art projects and talk about theoretical physics over a pot of the best tea in the city. Let's do things we've never done before and keep doing all the things we love to do and many more.

And here's to a unanimous vote for not playing games that hurt: fun naughty games are okay though *wink*. I love playing, but fun games that excite and delight not head games that hurt and confuse. That doesn't do anyone any favours.

Let's play big, let's think big and create a big beautiful life with all the space we desire for all that we wish to enjoy and experience.

First dates? I like the idea of introductory dates on a chill level and if that pans out and we get to know one another a bit better then I can have fun crafting an official first date that will be very enjoyable and enriching for both of us.

Cafe's, galleries & museums, walks in the fall (I love the autumn sooo much) or walks any time of the year (even the winter).
I like the botanical gardens too, that's a very nice place to walk around and check out. I love sushi and Thai and Indian.

I love surprises and new things and creating fun surprises for my Date as well.

Mostly it's all about conversation and chemistry, so it kinda doesn't matter what we do provided it's about us and getting to know each other: As long as that's possible I'd say we're good.
