Hi... thanks for looking at my profile!

I think it is important to begin by saying my previous marriage lasted 11 years and ended in divorce -- my ex chose this, I did not. Anyone who has been through this knows there is not much you can do about it. I say this so you know my character... the sanctity of marriage is of utmost importance to me and I do not take the covenant and vows lightly. Simply stated, God hates divorce, therefore, it is not an option for me. I know there are special circumstances, but, you get my point. Anyway, with that said... here goes:

~ I enjoy photography and woodworking... although I'm not that great at either one.
~ I would like to get married again, some day, and have a family of my own -- but I am not in a hurry.
~ I like going "out" and doing lots of things, but also like to stay in sometimes and just watch some TV.
~ Playing pool, darts, ping pong, horseshoes, racquetball, tennis, volleyball, basketball, etc. are all fun and I like the excitement of competition.
~ I like to laugh... though it hasn't happened a whole lot lately, and I like making other people laugh. I'd like to think I have a pretty good sense of humor... but it is pretty dry and corny most of the time.
~ I prefer small groups rather than large, and don't normally like being the center of attention.
~ I like to golf (sometimes), but am not very good at it. It's nice to be outside though.
~ Fishing, to me, is kinda boring... but fly fishing in a cool mountain stream with a guide can be surprisingly relaxing.
~ I enjoy playing sports and watch them some, but do not follow them or NASCAR so closely that I have favorite players or drivers. Attending live events can be fun too, but is not a necessity for me.
~ I do enjoy going to the gym, working out, staying in shape, and sitting in the hot tub. If you don't enjoy these things, we probably won't be more than friends. Oh yeah, the swimming pool can be fun too...but not really by myself (heehee)
~ I prefer the mountains and snow to the beach and sand, but enjoy both... and have lived near both at some point or another. My philosophy is, "You can always put more clothes on, but you can only take-off so many... before you get arrested."
~ I don't read much, but I've been getting into it a little more lately. I would usually choose an audio book over a hardcopy though.
~ I listen to Contemporary Christian music the most (K-Love or similar), but do like other genres like Rock, Dance, New Age, Country, Pop, Jazz, Hip-Hop/Rap... just depends on who else is listening and what mood I'm in. I'm pretty flexible.
~ Oh yeah, and my hair is more a blond-ish brown orangey something...but they didn't have a drop-down option for that.

How about skydiving or bungee jumping? Okay, just kidding... I wouldn't really do that (that's more like date 3... again, not serious).
