In this section, you won’t find a tremendously long list of likes and dislikes because let’s just be honest… it doesn’t matter anyways. I’ll agree to the fact that it’s important to have things in common, but people seem to put too much emphasis on these things. I mean, is it cool that you like the movie Goodfellas? Sure. But do you let the idea of liking Goodfellas define you? I certainly hope not. It’s these kinds of superficial ideas that makes getting to know one another a strenuous task because when you focus to hard these things, you lose sight of the really important stuff. If you’re perplexed by this, I’ll break it down for you.

For example, let’s say you and I both glance at each other’s profile and we both observe that we mutually enjoy croquet. And then we begin to pepper conversation back and forth, all the while discussing the ecstasy that fills our hearts when we play the game. In the midst of all this croquet-related banter, you forget to mention that you have thirteen fingers, or an extra foot. So the bottom line is this: croquet is expendable; spare limbs are not. If you have any spare limbs, I’d really like to know about them up front. And just for the record, I’ve never played croquet in my life.

I realize that this was a pretty melodramatic way to get my point across, but I cannot stress enough how significant essential information is when getting to know someone. So for now, let’s just try to stick with the facts. We can work out the details later.
The facts are as follows:
* I am a film school graduate
* I work for Moosejaw.com as a graphic designer
* I own a rusty 1991 Honda Accord (but I tell everyone that it’s a loner because my Ferrari is in the shop)
* I have a small scar on my right forearm from falling on my parent’s treadmill when I was 18
* I’ve been known to debate for hours about the culture significance of horror films.
* I have Aquaphobia (which is a fear of deep water) but I pretend that I don’t
* I have a tattoo on my left arm that says “Alabama” which is a reference to the movie True Romance
* I love a good, strong cup of black coffee accompanied by a few dozen cigarettes
* I despise reality television, except for ‘Obsessed’ on A&E
* I refuse to dance at bars and/or clubs, but on occasion I’ve been known to bust-a-move at the office
* If I could have dinner with one celebrity (dead or alive), I’d choose Christopher Walken
