I'm a 33 y/o male who loves music, movies and art. I am a lead singer / keyboardist in a local band and I'm into all kinds of music (aside from rap). I'm a big movie fan and sports fan. I love the outdoors and going to the beach, as well as camping. I like going out to concerts or just ordering in and watching a movie on the TV.

I'm mostly into rock, classic rock, some metal, country, r&b and jazz. Pretty much any kind of music that is expressive and unique. I've seen everything from Megadeth and Lamb of God to Nickelback, Kenny Chesney and Leanne Rimes. I think that music is one of the greatest artistically expressive forms in the world. So, you could say I'm pretty passionate about music.

I like to go out and see local bands on occasion or just go out and see a cover band jam out while having a drink or two. I like all kinds of different movies: action, suspense, horror but, I mainly love comedies. I love laughing! I think it's one of the most important things to do on a daily basis to feel young and live a long life. I think life is too short too be taken so seriously. I like going to the zoo and I love going to Nags Head, when it's not raining the whole time. I like going to amusement parks but I don't do roller coasters. I've tried many times to get used to them, just not my thing.

I love going to baseball games and football games when I can get tickets. LOL! I'm a big Atlanta Braves fan (I try to be a Nationals fan but, it's hard to be since they suck so bad) and I have been a Redskin fan, even though lately I'm kinda afraid to admit it. lol! I like to travel if given the chance. There are a lot of places I'd like to see that I haven't yet but I have been to Hawaii, Indiana, Ohio and Maryland. I work with at-risk youth and their parents. It's a stressful job but I like working with the kids and their families. Just looking to meet new people. I'm pretty busy with my job and it makes it hard to meet new people so, I thought I'd give this a try. Just looking for someone I can hang out with and get to know. Someone who enjoys having a couple beers while watching a band, someone who is willing to go for a run/jog to get the blood pumping, someone who isn't afraid to speak their mind and express their wants and needs. Communication is really important to me. If you can't say what's on your mind or what you want out of life and the moment, then I'm not the guy for you. I hate to say what would be a 'perfect' first date. To me, that would depend on who I'm taking out. Let me just say that there are plenty of ideas out there but the specifics are to be determined.
