I'm a very strong willed, independent woman. I once walked out of an eye appointment and into a travel agency on a whim and booked my first solo trip to D.C. I quickly learned how gratifying it is to go outside the norms and do things you want to do, even if you might be a little uncomfortable. I believe if you want something, there isn't much stopping you but you.

I'm a homebody by nature, but I love spontaneity. I once signed up to do a fundraising climb for the CN Tower, and I spanked it ;) Waking up early on the weekend to go on a roadtrip just about anywhere always puts a smile on my face. But, nothing beats a good ol' movie on the couch some days or a few beers listening to music.

My friends would describe me as genuine, smart, funny, generous, caring and a bit of a spaz...but only some of the time!! Their words, not mine ;) lol.

I've recently taken up jogging again, and I spend my evenings trying to out do the night before. While not always successful, i'm proud of where i've gotten.

I love music. If I could got to a concert once a month, my life would be complete. My music taste varies, though i'm more open to what I listen to. One of my favourite bands, and the nicest people i've ever met is an indie group from California. Jazz music always makes me want to dance (even if it's not a pretty sight) and grassroots make me want to stomp my feet. I love the feeling I get when I'm listening to music that sounds great. Always puts a smile on my face.

I'm an avid reader. Have been since I was 8. I go through phases, but I'm proud of my book collection, even if I think it's small (and nerdy)


I've been on this site before and have had some interesting experiences, but I am giving this another go because I truly believe that there is someone awesome out there to spend time with. All I ask is that you have a sense of direction in life. No one likes their time wasted.

Everyone likes just the quick get together. I think a quick drink, either coffee,tea or a beer just to see how you click is the norm. Or a nice walk.
