I just graduated from college. Right now I work as a hockey coach. I've played ice hockey for the past 15 years and I set a few records in college. Hockey is the first love of my life and if you enjoy the game then I'm sure you'll get some bonus points for that. If not, I'd be glad to teach you everything I know. As for my other hobbies, I spend a lot of time reading and do not care for much TV unless it's something athletic (Yankees, Giants, Islanders...). I can talk about sports all day, watch sports all day, play sports all day and I love being competitive. I tend to $h!t talk, so if that offends you, man up, and get some material to abuse me back with. I am also very artistic and love time to sit alone and paint/draw in my sketch book. I find it to be very relaxing and I love creative people. I majored in studio art for a while in college, but I didn't want to starve for the rest of my life so I switched out and just do it as a hobby now.

I am super low-maitenance. I do not require big, expensive presents or fancy schmancy dinners. I don't need to be pampered because I wasn't raised to be a spoiled brat. I actually feel very awkward about things like that. I enjoy the little things that come for free like a good laugh, any act of kindness or chivalry, etc. Warning you now, I'm not the kind of girl that wears a ton of make-up or worries about my nails or needs to be half naked to go out. I'm not a slob by any means, but I enjoy being cozy and comfortable because I always have more fun that way.

I am very nurturing person which is why I decided to go into nursing. My friends refer to this quality as me being in "mom-mode". I come from a strict Catholic, very proud and loud, Italian up-bringing and I value family togetherness. I've also mastered the family sauce and my cooking is quite legendary. I tend to fuss over my friends and put everyone else's needs before my own. Maybe I'm painting myself as a saint here but I'm really not. I curse, I am loud, I have a tattoo, I'm a total goofball and a nerd. I have zero patience for idiots/dumb people (especially dumb girls) and have been known to have a slight temper when dealing with those kinds of people.

I don't really know what I want out of this website because I just got out of something serious and long and obnoxious and even writing about it in this little box makes me want to claw my eyeballs out, but hey...maybe this will be a fun experiment...

I'm a fan of coffee...and by a fan I mean an ADDICT. Bars are good too. I thoroughly enjoy a nice cold beer and a hockey game on TV at the local watering hole. Something in a public place so I don't get murdered. I really enjoy being alive.
