Are your eyes starting to cross and your vision blurring from all of the boring profiles you've been reading on here...? Me too... so please spruce yours up after you send me a message.

I'm here because the bar scene got old a long while ago, don't really have time for that much anymore, plus its just so hard to keep track of all those phone numbers written on little napkins. I think its much more romantic to tell our friends that we met online instead of we went head to head doing tequila shots at the bar and one thing just led to another. Or we can just say we met in Vegas and then nobody will ask for more details, except maybe for some of my friends.

I would hate to bore you by telling you how wonderful I am, I am sure that you have already read how wonderful every single guy on here is already. So, why not start with the bad stuff... I'm impulsive at times, afraid of spiders, and I cried like a little girl twice while watching "The Notebook". I have little patience for flakes or fakes, clowns creep me out, and I never trust anyone who smiles for no reason. I love myself and who I am, but its a healthy kind of love... nothing kinky usually. I like to do laundry but I hate folding it, love to cook but I hate doing the dishes. I once had an awkward moment just to see what it felt like. How about you?

Okay, due to overwhelming demand I will sing my own praises too. I'm painfully cute, look a lot younger than I am... I have teenagers asking me out all of the time. I have more interests than I can list here, and some they wont let me list, so I'll keep it kinda short. I used to play ice hockey but now I just watch it, I've been in bands and in movies but now I just watch them too (there seems to be a trend here), ex-punk rocker so I still have the anti-conformity thing going on a little bit but don't worry I shine up like a new penny when I want too, extremely varied musical tastes so I'm not stuck in one music rut like many people... right now I've got Fugazi and Rise Against playing on the pc but later on I might switch gears and play some Brian Lynch Latin Jazz Sextet. I love the outdoors but then again I also love the indoors. I can probably cook better than you, wanted to be a chef when I was younger but I guess that wasnt punk rock enough for me at the time so now most of my culinary genius is just to impress myself and fill my stomach. I used to alligator wrestle but then I almost lost my face so I figured I should stop. Okay did you really beleive that? I love tease and joke around and it would be great to find someone who can give it right back too.

I think "cosmic bowling" would not be a good first date, if that was what you were going to suggest maybe put that one back on the shelf until we're picking out names for our kids. Lets grab a bite to eat and catch a live band, or meeting for a wine tasting or a cooking class would be fun. If you're outdoorsy we can go on a short hike or ride a horse. And yes, we can even meet at a coffee shop if you prefer getting wired on caffeine while we talk.
