Hello, I’m Raj and I live in NYC, near the UN. I enjoy the simple things in life: Meeting friends for a good meal or a few drinks, or having folks come by my place while I cook a meal. I really enjoy cooking, I find it to be a great way to relax and usually cook even if it’s just for myself—it’s one way that I stay healthy and take care of myself.

I also own a motorcycle (Triumph Tiger), which unfortunately I’ll be putting away for the winter soon. Going for a ride is a great way to get away from everything and to really put things in perspective. Sometimes the bike doesn’t cut it, though. I really enjoy traveling overseas and have been to Europe, Asia and Central America, and plan to continue exploring new places.

My friends will tell you that I’m reliable and laid back, and I will tell you that I really value my friends and family.

On a first date I like going to a place where we can have a conversation and get to know each other.
