I try to be the best person that I can be; it does not always work out that way, as no one is perfect including myself. I can be obnoxious, loud and boisterous at times but I am sweet, caring and devoted all the time(though at times that might not be evident, but it is always there).



This most likely not going to bode well for myself, but I feel the need mention this this up front. I am a very staunch atheist; as to say that I do not require beliefs in the make believe stories to provide a moral compass or to guide me through life, I require the thoughts and knowledge that I gain from other people and my own experiences for my morals and guidance; in totality I am not a "rabid atheist" where I view religion/beliefs as something to do away with or suppress to non-existence, as there are few if any atheists that feel this way at all, it is that beliefs, if held onto to tightly interfere with everything else in life and that is not something I am looking for.

I am at the outset a very shy person around new people(always have been, though that might seem contradictory from the above paragraph :) ) until I get to now them. I will seem standoffish at first; but given time I will become loud and obnoxious in no time(kidding...about being obnoxious). I will become quite the talker, given time(no not years); kidding aside, I enjoy conversation and have a great deal of interest in a variety of subjects.

I am very liberal/progressive in my political outlook. I did vote for Obama, but lean towards persons of a political stripe more like Dennis Kucinich(D-Ohio) and Bernie Sanders(D-Vermont). I am a person that is willing to learn about people and subjects without having a closed mind, though I will base this all on what is always tangible.

I am currently working in the automotive field doing electronic and mechanical system diagnostics. I am not the typical "grease monkey"; the work I do involves a good deal of modern technology; there is CAN networks(yes cars are now running what amounts to a computer network), hybrid vehicles, drive by wire, vehicle stability control, all this among the many current implements with improving advancements on the horizon. I spend a good deal of time keeping current through trade publications and classes; it is always a challenge and never boring.


I like all types of music; though I listen to rock most of the time(it is what I grew up with as I was around when the lead singer of Aerosmith was not a grandparent.) I also like reading; from science fiction to politics, but as of late it has been mostly political books(I will not dwell on this subject if need be).
