My Self-Summary:
Mellow, down to earth and easy going for the most part. Those that know me well will tell you that I have a good since of humor and live life one day at a time.

I am an intelligent guy. I'm also athletic and like to stay in shape. I try to set new challenging workout goals for myself to keep things interesting. I think I must be very approachable as well. While I'm out and about, people often don't hesitate to ask me for directions or help with things in stores etc. Even people that don't speak English are at ease approaching me. That could also relate to mistaking my heritage or background, but a certain level of comfort still exists. I don't think it's a bad thing. I think some people can see a little deeper than others.

What I’m doing with my life:
I'm always working towards being on the positive side of "working to live" opposed to just "living to work." I'm constantly looking to better myself and enjoy the things that life has to offer. I'm looking forward to my next trip/vacation, as well as better ways to spend my free time.

I’m really good at:
I'm a really good listener. I realize that some people just need a person to vent with at times. I'm good with my hands and with technical stuff. I'm not a mechanic but, I like to do work on my car when it comes to certain repairs. When I go home to visit my parents, there's always a wish list of repairs or setups waiting for me, everything from home theater to home improvement to computers. I don't mind at all. Friends and family wouldn't ask, if they didn't consider me a trusted source ;) I guess some people would label me a Mr. Fix-it type. I just don't advertise it and you probably wouldn't pick it up by looking at me.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my height and oddly enough my teeth. I'm really surprised these days... I guess it's something that I take for granted ... but apparently there must be a lot of guys out there with some bad teeth. lol

My favorite books, movies, music, and food:
I not big on fictional books, but I need to get back to it. "The Good Earth" was pretty good. "The Gospel of Judas" was cool too. I picked it up from a National Geographic museum exhibit on the recent findings. It was pretty interesting to read about a possible different twist to a familiar story to a lot of people. As for movies, there are so many. Coming to America is classic comedy and more recently it might be Talladega Nights or 40 Year Old Virgin. OMG... I have to say that the Hangover took me by surprise. That movie was so ridiculously funny. I haven't laughed like that in a theater in a long time. Cool love stories are Ask the Dust, Hav Plenty, Spanglish, and maybe Something New. As for Sci Fi I think Batman:Dark Knight was very good along with Iron Man. Superman II is my all time favorite. As for food, I love international cuisine and I like to cook it as well. Thai food and Cuban are some of my favorites. As for TV, my current favorites are The Modern Family, Vampire Diaries, Dancing With the Stars, Smallville, Eastwick and Cougar Town. Occassionally I'll catch Supernatural. I can't forget my sports. I watch NBA, NFL and MLB. My teams are the Chicago Bears, NY Jets, NY Yanks, NY Mets, NY Knicks and the Lakers (probably loyal to them since Magic is one of my all time favorites). I love all types of music and always have an open ear to new things. I enjoy salsa, hip-hop/rap, r&b, neo soul, top 40 and pop.

The six things I could never do without:
Outside of the 5 senses. I'd have to say family, friends, transportation, a good heart, motivation and a passion to do better.

I spend a lot of time thinking about:
I probably think about ways of working smarter not harder and achieving goals.

You only get once chance to make a first impression. So with that in mind, I'd have to say that a first date would be unique for each person. I like to be creative but still keep it simple.
