Hobbies include cooking , camping , canoeing , kayaking ,biking , wine making , working on old cars . I plan to retire in the next year or so . I am a very honest and caring person and always there to help my friends . My door is always open and people feel comfortable to drop by . I like most kinds of music , but listen mostly to classic rock . I am not a couch-potato and do not watch much t.v. My passion is for classic muscle cars and motorcycles , but the urge to push them to the limits has long since vanished . I have a great sense of humour , but it does tend to get me in trouble from time to time . I raised two boys ( as a single parent in their
later years of high school ) that I am very proud of . The older one (30) lives in Japan and teaches English . The younger one (28) is a chemical engineer , lives in Calgary , and works for an oil company . I am financially secure and own my own house , that I built 20 years ago .

The first meeting could be a public place for something like a coffee . A first date could be a nice home-cooked dinner at my place followed by listening to music on the couch in front of the fireplace , sipping on a glass of wine and talking . Another option could be dinner and dancing downtown .I am open to any other suggestions , you decide .
