I am easygoing, kind, friendly, enjoy the simple things and meeting people but am also a bit shy.

I smile easily... I love to laugh and have fun with family and friends. I try not to take myself too seriously as life is too short. (Geez, this all sounds so serious. lol.)

I am strong and like to be independent but also love the give and take in a relationship.

I am a "cup is half full" type of person but still have times where I get down. I'm a bit like Scarlet O'Hara though in that "tomorrow is another day" and believe that it will be better.

I enjoy creativity, in all forms, whether it is in art, music, writings, acting, whatever. I enjoy a variety of music. I think there is good in all types, but listen mostly to Classic Rock, Contemporary/Soft Rock and Country.

I have been contacted by men who are looking for their soul mate. They describe themselves, and include anything and everything that a woman could ever want (including the kitchen sink. lol). They say that they think I could be the love they've been looking for before they've even met me or after just one date. I have no interest in hearing from anyone like this. I am not in a hurry to fall in love and make a commitment. I do want to find someone special, but this can take time, and I definitely won't take one look at your picture and decide you're the man for me. I mean, I don't know you and you don't know me. Be realistic.

I would prefer to have a casual meeting as a first date in a place in which we both can feel comfortable, preferably in jeans.
