I am a graduate student at A&M completely new to Texas. I'm originally from New York City but have lived in Italy, Spain, and most recently Boston. Currently working towards a Masters degree in underwater archaeology with plans on making that my career. My main goal is being able to scuba dive for a living and pass it off as a science hah. I love to laugh and do often, usually in an uncontrollable and inappropriate manner. What's the fun in life if you can't have a good chuckle at your own expense?

I was a competitive Irish step dancer for many years (think Riverdance but never that good) so I like to dance and go out. On the other hand there is nothing better than hanging out at home to relax and unwind. I spend most mornings running and I'm currently training for a half marathon so my 7-mile runs are a good time to see the outskirts of the city. I'm hoping to learn how to rock climb as well as do a proper Texas two step in the near future. Teachers welcome, I'm a quick study!

As for music, I like pretty much everything. I know, very generic answer but it's true. Other than that, I am a very open person and can be brutally honest (I apologize in advance). I dig respect and hope to get what I give out of life.

Ah the first date question, can I answer with the completely predictable coffee date? It's easy and laid back or just meet for a few drinks somewhere to get to know one another. Also, I'm completely clueless of what there is around here so I can't really get too creative.
