I hate filling these out, but, since it's mandatory, here goes: I have a pretty wide variety of interests, such as reading, hiking, art, music, riding motorcycles, amusement parks and am pretty much open to any new experience. I think my interest in seemingly non-congruent things has made it difficult for me to meet someone, which is why I swore off the dating websites, but, as you can see, here I am again. I would love to meet someone who had interest as varied as I do, you know, someone who could fix my car, then put on a tux for a black tie affair. I know this person has to be out there, surely there can't just be one of us. I also think I have a great sense of humor, and I tend to go for the sarcastic. I am a roller coaster fanatic, so if you are afraid of heights or laizzer-faire about coasters, you should probably move on. Also, while I'm not a vegetarian, I do love animals, so if you are an Eagles fan, you and I probably won't hit it off.

My best friend told me once that the best first date is mini-golf, because you can learn everything you want to know about a person from mini-golf. While I actually like mini-golf, I think the best first date, seriously, is just going out for dinner somewhere. Call me old fashioned, but that way you can get to know someone, and the ultimate is when we just talk and talk and the restaurant staff is getting impatient because the place has been closed for 45 minutes but we are having such a good time we didn't notice.
