By the way, I'm the one on the left. I'm not in a rush to find anyone, but looking to find a friend who could have the potential of being in a LTR.
I grew up in a small town and added to my town's ethnic diversity being the only minority for a longtime. Most of my friends would describe me as "the girl next door" (but not the kind you would see on TV...that wouldn't make me 'unique'). I'm more of a tomboy (still take care of myself), enjoy the outdoors, and find humor in life itself (although I do have my serious moments when it matters). I strive to improve educational systems and hope to create an impact internationally. Outside of work, I hope to step out of the box and encounter some adventures that I haven't experienced yet. As far as music....I like everything BUT Bollywood music and heavy metal. On most days, I enjoy hip hop, old school rap, alternative, U2 is my favorite, and once in a while you can find me listening to AC/DC if I'm stressed out.

On the first date, I would meet at a coffee shop (or do something simple). If we were hitting it off, I would see if he was into playing games--not mind games :p --- and suggest either a card game or checkers and he could just sit there and watch me win :-). We could also go somewhere else and have dinner, go bowling/play pool, go for a walk outside, and see if there is potential for a second date.
