I like travel, the outdoors, camping and seeking out new places and experiences. When I can't travel (which is more often than I'd like) I read, play games, go bike riding, hang out with friends, watch movies, brew beer, have intellectual conversations or just hang out by my fish pond.

I feel I'm pretty stable (both emotionally and financially). I'm trustworthy, honest, open and loyal. I'm a bit shy at first and make friends slowly but once made, I've got their back. I'm funny, thoughtful and smart with a good sense of humor that some describe as wit. I'm curious and open-minded and love finding a new idea to dissect and discuss.


I'm a software developer and like my job, but it won't be forever so I'm learning more about investments, primarily real-estate, to get out of the so-called rat-race.
I've always liked the idea of self-sufficiency and self-sustainability. I'm a city guy now, but like to think I'm working and investing to retire comfortably to a zero emission, off the grid, solar/hydro, geodesic dome on a hill with a garden and fish pond to sustain. It's some time out and ever-changing, but I enjoy thinking about it and planning the build in my head.

Coffee or a drink if there's not a lot of time. But, ideally, an activity of some sort. Movies, shows and concerts tend to supress conversation and you don't learn anything about the other person. Dinners tend require conversation, and may be awkward if you find early on that you just don't 'click'. So bowling, a walk, an exhibit or museum tend to be good first dates. Followed by a bite, maybe, if we hit it off.
