I feel that I am a caring person looking for that someone who wants to find someone for dating, that hopefully is looking for a long term relationship eventally after time. I am looking for someone preferrably between the ages of 35 and 49. I do use alot of sarcasm, so someone with thin skin is not for me, but it's definitely within moderation, not to hurt someone's feelings!! I am looking for someone who can make me laugh first. If someone makes you laugh you know that there will be friendship there if nothing else. I want someone to make me feel safe, who likes to take care of his girl without being possessive. I am tired of the drama, whether it be baby mama drama or just plain ol' drama. I know that at our age kids are inevidable for alot of people, but I would love to find someone who has an amicable relationship with their ex so that we can move on and get to know each other with out all the drama. I want someone who wants to be with "ME" and not out partying and drinking with their buddies 2-3 nights a week. Someone who calls you when you least expect it just to say hi and ask about your day just because they are thinking about YOU and vice versa....it is a two way street for sure!! Someone who thinks of their kids first and me second (until they are 18 :-)). I know and expect this because I would have done the same if I had children.

I feel that I am an attractive girl with a good figure who pays attention to what she looks like (sometimes a little too much ). Appearance is important to me. I want someone to be fashionable without being metrosexual. I want someone who is personable and enjoys social activities who doesn't need their hand held to go out in public but wants it held because they want to show that they are with me and they are happy to be doing so. But they have to also want their space as to give me my space because I work full time and I go to school a few nights of the week and I know everyone has a busy life, but regardless of the obsticles, making time for each other is essential for a successful relationship. But it's important to me to make time for each other even if it's just a drink after work/school to show that you are thinking of this person. Those times mean the most!!! This person has to understand that my friends and family are very important to me and I spend alot of time with them and this person has to be able to accept that and want to join in the fun, as I want to do the same with their friends and family! If you don't have family you have nothing.....in my eyes!!! I would love to someday have a child, but due to life's unfortunate circumstances, I would love to adopt a child someday!!! If it happens it happens, only time will tell but I'm not basing my happiness and self worth on that! I can find happiness in a solid relationship where I know I am cared about and loved and join in with their kids. This may seem like alot, but I am just being honest to myself because I've had alot of ups and downs and just refuse to settle with someone who is not the man for me!! I find modesty and humility more attractive then arrogance!! :-) Let me figure out that you're great without you telling me you are :-) Well enough about me :-)

I think a first date should be light. Meet for dinner and maybe a drink or 2 (to loosen up and get rid of the nerves) and have a nice conversation and see where things go. Movies in my opinion are not a good first date cuz then you don't get to talk to find out what that person is all about. After the first date then take it from there and run with it and do what makes you both happy whether it is sitting home and cooking together and watching a movie or going out on the town.....whatever we both decide together!!! I would prefer someone who lives fairly close to my town, from personal experience long distance just doesn't work.
