About Me
Sometimes we go through life waiting for things to happen for us on their own…but there comes a point when we realize that the “seeking out” process can undoubtedly be the funnest (that’s not a word…scratch that…most fun) part of the process. I guess I figured it was time to start seeking! This is a new adventure for me and although I tend to be a bit old fashioned in my mindset about dating – I’ve decided to enlist in the help of a fish finder. (Really sorry about that cheesy dating/fishing analogy…but it had to be said. Later on in my profile I’ll make sure to make more cheesy jokes about catching me, hook line, and sinker! Haha!)
About me:
I’m a young professional who really likes to enjoy life and all that it encompasses. I try to keep myself really busy by staying in shape, playing lots of music, singing, and spending as much time as possible with my friends. My work is really important to me, but so is the necessity of balance between my job and my social self. Money isn’t something that ranks under “high priority” in my life…it never has…but a girl’s gotta eat! I’d rather hike over going quadding (a sacred Alberta past time), read over watching TV, and play music with friends over going to a club. Getting to know myself has been a long and often tedious process! I’m confident that I’ve got a pretty good idea of what I am and what I am looking for. So…
About you:
You’re active and fun and enjoy staying in shape – but not so much so that you can’t enjoy a really fun evening out with all that comes along with the fun (ie – sharing a bottle of wine and a big piece of cheesecake!) You are confident, love to laugh, not easily offended and you have the ability to work a room, perhaps even better than me (but you’ve got some competition)! You have a job that you are happy with and a life that you are even happier with. Now all you need is someone to complete the puzzle. Maybe that’s me!! Or…maybe it’s someone else! But, most importantly, do me a favour and remind yourself to never settle for someone who is less than your best. It’s not worth it. Good luck in your search and I hope you find someone on your first few casts (haha…another one of those jokes just snuck in there!)
Peace.
First Date
My first date?? Isn't that a little presumptuous? Just kidding. A conversation over a glass of wine is probably the best bet. The conversation always gets easier after the second, though! :)
