Do you know the quote by Antoine de Saint-Exupery "Love is not looking at each other but in the same direction"? Of course I would like to fall in love as much as the next person and feel those butterflies, but I've learned that feelings alone don't seem to sustain a relationship in the long run as much as a shared outlook and belief which can truly connect two people.

I have been divorced for almost two years now and I am curious to meet someone new. I am originally from Germany, the reason I came to the US was my marriage but I have made my home here over the years and have close friends that are a big part of my life. Finishing my second Associate's degree is my current main focus and I am very excited to have finally found my calling, having searched for a long time.

I am in a very good place in my life right now and I am looking for someone who feels the same about his and wants to share it with me and develop a healthy and committed relationship.
