My name is Mike if you haven't guessed. My hobbies include all types of gaming be it card games, board games, video games, pc games, rpgs, you name it. Some would say it makes me a nerd, but I enjoy them. I'm not the guy who lives in his mom's basement, I get out, hang with friends and do plenty of other things as well.

I don't get to do them often, but ever since I was a kid, I always liked to go camping, hiking, floating, swimming, theme parks, anything. I love animals, but can't currently have any in my apartment, much to my dismay.

I am a Union Custodian. My job is humble, but the hours, pay, and benefits are hard to come by in this economy. I still hope to one day get back in the saddle and try for a teaching degree. I'd like to be a history teacher.

Let's see, some random facts about me are: I have hazel colored eyes, my favorite color is blue, and I have my own apartment. Besides all that, I'm very smart and anyone who's met me would definitely agree that I'm a funny guy and polite to everyone I meet. I would like to be a father someday. I'm a very agreeable and easy-going person, not much bothers or offends me. I go by "live and let live." Everyone has different views about the world and that's fine, just don't step on mine. My biggest downfall, I would say, is that I'm fairly shy around new people, but once I open up, I'm your best friend.

Music-wise I can listen to anything without complaint. My own tastes are a few choice songs from any given artist or genre.

I'm not personally religious at all and don't mind if you are. I've occasionally gone to church or other ceremonies with friends or family just to be there with/for them, so it doesn't bother me. All I ask is that you don't try to convert me.

I have yet to have any kind of "blind date." I usually talk to her long before any first date scenario comes up, be it online, over the phone, etc. to find out her interests first. Then when the time comes, I have often started out small, maybe something like dinner and a movie, a long walk around town or to someplace special, or just hanging out together at home and getting to know one-another more. Whatever she wants to do is fine with me though, I'm always up for anything. After that, who knows.
