I'm a very respectful, warm, caring, intelligent, articulate person with a great sense of humour - I love to laugh! I also like to work - I run a very successful company in Cobourg. But I do try to find balance most of the time.

I'm finally ready to settle down with the right person and start a family. Yes, I know, that can be pretty spooky but I honestly am no longer into the dating scene - I'm looking for the right woman for a deep and intense relationship.

I love music - all kinds - PROVIDED THAT - it was made before 1990! Well, kidding, but I do listen to old stuff a lot. A lot of old alternative, I guess. But hey, toss on some Stones or Zeppelin and I'll get up and boogie. Favourite bands include Radiohead, The Clash, and The Velvet Underground.

Although I have a MONSTER (60" plasma - yes, I really, really like my toys) TV, I rarely watch it. If I'm home alone I'm probably either reading a book or magazine or playing on the 'puter.

I'm very black and white - I'm either totally into something or I don't care. "Moderation" isn't in my vocabulary - when I'm into something, I'm really into it. I guess I'm very passionate about stuff.

One of my passions is cooking BUT I never do it. I'm terrible - I eat out virtually all the time. I might heat up a lasagna or something once every two weeks or so. There's no point cooking for one, you know?

Yikes - this is hard - I'm probably coming across as a weirdo! I'm not!

OK, I guess that's it for me - for now, anyways.

As I indicate above, I really enjoy good conversation and getting to know people. Thus, the ideal first date for me would involve the opportunity to talk in a relatively quiet and comfortable environment. If there's huge online chemistry perhaps dinner somewhere, otherwise a coffee or drink at a coffee shop or pub. If it's the right person there will be plenty of time for crazy fun dates in the future.
