I became a member of PoF because my friend told me it was a great website. I just want to say that the men I have met/dated so far have been amazing people. I would happily stay friends with them. Realistically, that's not likely. After all, we're not looking for 'friends' here, are we? On the other hand, I truly believe that men and women must be friends first and foremost in order to facilitate the intimacy that only a man and a woman in love can truly share and appreciate. Romance and passion are extremely important to me. I know chivalry is not dead and I know that I may have to kiss a lot of frogs before I find my Prince. That's ok! Let's start the kissing! And the hand holding! And the Laughter! And let's make the whole world jealous of US!

I just started singing Karaoke, but I promise you it is not my forte. My favorite pastime is dancing to classic rock at a local club. I also enjoy a lot of today's rock music. I recently took up bicycling again and am looking forward to biking to work next summer. I am a total movieaholic and enjoy everything but documentaries. (Scary movies are ok if you'll hold me tight) I am in a very good place in my life and am ready to start meeting other people who also have their act together. We all have baggage in some form or another, but let's leave it at home for now. If you feel the need to talk about your past relationships this much, you might want to reconsider whether you are ready to date again. I am told I clean up well and look pretty good in my jeans, too. I am very comfortable with who I am and am looking forward to spending time with other people who know who they are and what they want now and in the future. My personal goal is to retire by the time I'm sixty, if not before, and I don't need you to get me there, I just expect you to have similar goals.

Meet for a drink at a restaurant that could provide an encore of dinner if the date is going well would be my first choice. Sitting down, face to face allows for eye contact, conversation and natural chemistry to reveal itself, which is very important to me. If you want to meet for coffee I'm down for it, might even provide the opening to the 2nd date. BTW, we all know how important 1st impressions are, but to me that's all they are, they don't necessarily decide our fate and it's pretty nervewracking for most of us to meet our potential future mate like this. Am I right? So, let's relax and just have fun!
