I'm a down-to-earth, no frills, a few spills, comfortable kind o' girl. :-) I love Jesus! I love my kids! I love life! And there's room in my heart for more. I'm looking for a God-centered relationship (with a long term goal of marriage) where He is first and we both seek to serve Him.

I love movies whether at the theater or relaxing at home. I enjoy visiting with friends at home or at a local coffee shop. I love to play around on my computer -- social networking, organizing, and learning new things. And I like to clean and keep my house tidy - yes, it's true :-) ... I find it relaxing and feel best when things are tidied up. I love to sing, but sadly wasn’t given the gift - sigh. Worship music is my favorite, but I like a moderate version of most anything -- pop, jazz, alternative, rock, country.... I even like my kids' hip-hop (well, some of it!) and you can’t beat Andrea Bocelli!

I enjoy getting outside & into nature but am not a hard core outdoors-person. I like my recreation to be fun, not work! I like to hike and have a few of our famous Colorado 14-ers under my belt. I enjoy exercise but haven't made time for it recently. I ran a marathon 3 or 4 years ago and being in tip-top shape is only a hop and a skip (and maybe a few bites) away. LOL! I love to travel- especially if there is a beach involved, watch clouds, thunderstorms, falling stars, sunrises, & sunsets... And going for long walks or snuggling up with my special someone, once I find you!

I LOVE to read all different kinds of books -- spirituality, parenting, health & wellness, human development & personalities, quantum physics, novels, and on and on. "There Is No Me Without You" by Melissa Fay Greene about orphans, adoption, and AIDS in Africa was powerful and moving. It tells the story of an amazing woman in Ethiopia who helped the AIDS orphans when no one else would, and also interweaves the history & background of the epidemic itself. Completely captivating.

I may not be [insert your favorite glamour queen here], but here is my dazzling dozen... I am smart, funny, creative, gullible (I no not like April Fools Day), honest, kind, trustworthy, loyal, adventurous, playful, enthusiastic, and capable. I believe that human beings were designed for partnership and I'm ready to find that special someone to top off an already wonderful ride and share the spice of life (as well as the bitter herb).

I'm young at heart & like to have silly fun! I have a good sense of humor and like to laugh (but am more inclined just to smile). I'm also flexible & tend to like most everything. One friend was applying for a position in my work group & when suggested to speak to me as a reference, she replied, "I'm not asking her! She likes everything!!"

SKYDIVING!!! … No? … Actually I did that once and sprained my ankle. But it WAS awesome!

Hmmm... a little tamer … perhaps meet at a coffee shop and chat. Or better yet, a coffee shop at a bookstore and wander and chat.

Or ... go to the zoo ... garage sales ... the flea market ... a comedy club (I know a really good one with "above the belt humor")... a museum ... the botanic gardens ... a local fair or festival... etc. I love movies but they are not the best for a first date as there is not much chance for getting to know someone. Dinner is nice and I wouldn't turn it down, but a bit cliché for this square peg.
