I'm very easy to get along with as I tend to be quite accepting of most people. I have a strong dedication to my family and they almost always come first in my life. I prefer simple things as opposed to extravagance. I'm a bit of a tom boy in that I rarely wear skirts, I can change my own oil, and I'm not afraid of getting dirty. I'm feminine in that I like to shop and I'm afraid of bugs. I'm a laid back individual with many layers. You'll just have to get to know me better. I'm the manager in a group home for individuals with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. It's a really good job but it's not what I want to do with the rest of my life. I hold degrees in computers and criminal justice. I've considered law school but my ultimate goal is to work for child protective services.
The person I would like to meet:
Someone who is nice, understanding, patient, fairly intelligent, accepting, open-minded, and non-judgmental. I'm not looking for someone who has active or recent drug/alcohol issues. Kids are fine, I love them. Age/looks don't matter too much, I'm a firm believer that it's what's inside that counts the most. I'd much rather spend my life with an interesting person than someone who used to look good when they were younger. Someone in my general area is ideal - it makes getting together so much easier and I'm not interested in relocating.

Drinks/Coffee so that we can take time to get to know each other and get the required nervousness out of the way. After dinner (or whatever) something fun and active so we can let loose and see each other's lighter side.
