Let me start by saying I'm not some lonely old lady looking for a soul-mate or even a cougar (God I hate that term) looking for an easy lay. I'm by no means 'needy' but I did have a revelation last year while living in Las Vegas. I found myself in a very new environment surrounded by a majority of single friends, very different from my environment here. I had a blast! I've been here in the panhandle since 1984 and I do love the South. I am so fortunate to have 3 loving sons and a fantastic circle of friends. However, the friends I have here are married couples. We have our fun, Atlanta Motor Speedway every year, get togethers, canoe trips, etc... The only thing I'm missing is what I experienced in Nevada. The single friends who can be spontaneous or just do things w/o a whole lot of preparation. I'm pretty up front so if you're interested in expanding your circle too e-me and we'll get to know eachother better. Speaking of being honest, I've been in the military for 30+ years and really don't have a lot in common with guys who don't have some kind of background as a GI.

How about we just get together at one of the tourist spots or one of our many local events and hang out. Have a cup of coffee or a beer and talk a bit.
