It's been a while since I have been out on the dating scene and feel it's time I give myself that chance again. I was married for 2 years, something that should have never happened, and it's been almost 2 years now that I have been divorced. One fantastic thing that came out of this with my ex is my wonderful baby daughter, who will turn 1 in November. She was conceived via artificial insemination, after the divorce, and we share custody of her. I have her 2 nights a week and she is cared for during the days by my mom at my house M-F. There is no need to wonder 'What if he still want's to get back with her?', as for that is not the case and she is soon to re-marry and I am happy for her that she has found happiness.

I am originally from El Salvador, although been here in the states for many many years. Dad was from NY, mom is from El Salvador. Have lived in a few states, but the majority was spent in NY from which I moved from and arrived here in NC in '02 and never looked back.

My career has been spent for the most part in food and beverage in many of its facets. I now sell food and have been employed by the same company for 5 years. I love it and truly enjoy going to work every day. The schedule is awesome and it gets me out in the Raleigh metro area and I work with an almost a 100% Hispanic territory. If you have eaten at a Mexican restaurant, chances are I sell them part of the food they have served you.

As for hobbies, I don't have as many as I once had. I do enjoy playing golf although do not do it quite as much as I would love to. Love my football and have been a Dallas fan for many decades, as well as a Mets fan, a Devils fan (sorry Canes, I will root for them but not when they face each other) and not so much into BKB. Not a Nascar fan nor a big admirer of college ball, although I'm getting there. Still have to pick a team to truly root for in this genre.

Love music and have a large CD collection. Favorite band is Queen, favorite artist is Eric Clapton. Love my movies, concerts are awesome, especially outdoor ones in perfect weather. Love a great bar band and since I worked in bars in NY for close to 15 years, yes, I enjoy going to them, although do not do that that often anymore, mostly for lack of friends that get into that scene.

Goals? One that is always in the back of my head is owning a small pub here in the area. Finding the right person to share moments is definitely there now. I placed 'dating' in the box of choices here thinking that one must start dating in order to get to a relationship. It could take one date to meet the next one, or a few, one never knows. What I do know is that the next person I consider to be my partner will have to be my best friend. Nothing like a feeling of enjoyment of being with one individual, accepting them for who they are and vice versa. It's not impossible, it's not easy to find, but once it's found, it's quite a simple voyage.

If a first date would come of this with someone I am sure we would have ironed out the likes and dislikes of where we'd like to go by that point. I am quite an easy going individual who usually finds the best in what's around me.
