I am a member of a Gaelic singing group, enjoy a wee dram, love harmonies and music of all kinds, especially Celtic, blues, jazz and roots, and enjoy good times with friends. I spend as much time as possible painting, reading, beachcombing, kayaking, dog walking, and enjoying the beauty of nature.

I am an unfailing optimist. Even when things are at their worst I seem to remain optimistic, a trait for which I am extremely grateful.

I love to go exploring. I always want to know what is around the next point, or over the next hill, or in the next town.

I have a full and busy life, a close family, great friends, a pleasant place to live, and many interests and passions. I had a warm and loving relationship with a wonderful man for 28 years, and really miss having that special someone to share the magic and the adventures, as well as the ordinary days and the quiet times together.
