I like to hit the gym, play board games, watch movies, read. I do like going out, mostly to watch or do comedy, but lately I haven't had time. I'd like to have a career where I have more time for fun. Money you can make, time is something you can't recover. I like heavy metal, classical, old punk, music filled with passion and something more than just a good machine driven beat. In the spring I fly kites, in the fall I jump into piles of leaves.

I have a pretty wide variety of interests. If you like doing it, odds are I will as well. I'm sort of like a big dog that way. Up for just about anything. If I'm not, I'll fall asleep.

I prefer doing handy stuff at home to cooking. But I've come a long way in the culinary arts. Used to be I couldn't even make toast. Now of course...I can. I'm not really a food guy. Oh, I like eating. Some of my best friends eat. But I try to eat healthy. But I do like hot dogs.
I said 'try' not 'fanatic.'
I'm not a beer guy but you don't have to twist my arm.
Most music I'll listen too. I don't really like the "Blueshammer" type sound. If you get that reference we should get along tremendously well.
Movies I do enjoy. I haven't encountered too many films that I've hated, pretty much willing to give everything a chance.
I read a lot. Lately I'm on a Steven King trip. But I read everything from Sartre to Proust to McCarthy to Herbert. I do like science fiction.
I'm not a t.v. guy, but I do like being at home and t.v.'s are usually there. Again, I'm not a fanatic.
Cats are great, dogs are great, all animals are pretty cool.

You know, I have a goofy sense of humor so it's hard to predict what it is I would do on a first date. I like to listen. Mostly I like to laugh. There are some things you can only do the first time you meet someone and early on in a relationship. And that sort of surprising stuff is what makes life worth living. There's good discovery in any dynamic.
