I've been known to swallow novels since a young age. Divide my time between school, social justice, work, good times, volunteering, politricks, graphic design, useless and useful trivia, and live music. I enjoy life. I don't want to feed the car salesman in my gut, but decided to finally invest/waste two minutes and pen something beyond lists of interests that are very similar to other people with good taste..hah. Really though, what is this site/spam/facebook? Does it really capture our essence..or is it a shadow with the scales tipping positive light over darkness? Meh. Answers are there but 'judge a man by the questions he asks' and all that jazz.

Despite the heavy handedness on the surface and you actually making it this far (congrats..you don't have ADD..or maybe it's the can'stopstaringatthehorriblecarcrash thing), I'm the farthest thing from pretentious you'll meet. I enjoy a hot cup of tea, reading, expanding my musical obsession, a good game of scrabble, shisha nights, and keeping up with the world we live in.

I'm also a selfish prick, independent, have goals, and affectionate slash aloof like a cat. Lots of fun, but I do not have have time for petty drama or emotional hysterics, and try be wise intelligent. Been told i'm witty ..but that was at needlepoint. I believe that one's personal outlook makes or breaks happiness and despair. Perception is deception, without the facts you still keep guessing, I guess. I try to be humbly confident and have an open mind. An open mind doesn't only mean you challenge what others think or believe..it also to means to challenge your own beliefs and perceptions yo. i'm old fashioned in the sense i'll do little gestures like open doors, give my seat on the subway to a senior, and never abandon a friend.. outdated concepts i hear.

i dig all kinds of sounds from the seeds to the wu-tang, bob dylan to otis redding. i love music old and new. nina simone, nas, rakim, smashing pumpkins, a perfect circle, pink floyd, jay electronica, DOOM, outkast, cee-lo, radiohead, leonard cohen get spins too. it's kind of pretentious to judge people on their tastes y'know.. though top 40 is not my thing. concerts are a must.

I'm goal oriented and open minded so random adventures like exploring old neighborhoods, rock climbing, paintballin', live comedy, and checking out new music are cool too. simple and easy to please. I appreciate that we're all human and everyone has their strengths and flaws.
Now excuse me while I bust out some cheeba cheeba and kiss the sky..
