I am an out of state grad student working on my Masters at Stony Brook University. I study music composition and also play the violin. I am new to the area and am finding it difficult to make new friends where I live. Since I do my work alone and basically set my own hours, I have a lot of spare time. I have a great sense of humor, but I do know when to be serious. I am naturally introverted, but I am not shy, nor am I passive. I am very compassionate, accepting, and courteous of other peoples' needs. I am also loyal and focused on the women that I am involved with. I may not talk much at first, but I love to listen and I have plenty to say.

This is a ridiculous question, but I will explain what I want in a woman. I am looking for a young lady who is passionate about what she does. She should have a great sense of humor and be open to new things. Whether or not she thinks she is very feminine or tomboyish, she should be confident that I am pleased with her. As I am loyal, she must be loyal as well. I am attracted to women who speak their mind and like to converse. I like a woman that has variety in her life, and can find adventure in many things. If not through words, she should find some way to show me that she appreciates what I am for her. Lastly, I feel it is very important to communicate about the way we feel, so I would hope that my significant other would have no second thoughts about being completely honest with me.
