Hm. Where to start?
As the profile probably suggests, I'm a nerdy young woman- yes I'm "bbw" but I am working on getting healthier, and so far its going pretty good. I'm kind hearted and love to laugh, even if my sense of humor seems odd to some. I am not the kind of girl you often see at parties or clubs- you'd be more likely to see me making dinner for friends or chatting with random people at the library. I look at life like an adventure and a classroom all at once. I've never really lost my sense of wonder about life and all this Earth has to offer. There are a million things I want to see and do before I die, and I guess you could say the reason I'm here is to find someone to experience it all with.
I really enjoy reading and watching nerdy programming on tv. As to books- I prefer non fiction history, philosophy, classic literature and historical fiction, but I'll read most anything if it's well written. I still have so much I have yet to read, its overwhelming sometimes. I'm not a book snob- I'll freely admit I found the intro for a Tale of Two cities too dreary to continue, but I do try to avoid EXTREMELY popular books. In other words, don't talk to me about Twilight! I guess for me, reading is just a huge passion, and if you share it you understand what I mean.
As for other hobbies, I love to be outdoors, and I think spontaneous picnics are an awesome thing. I also enjoy doing random crafty things, like making jewelry or knitting, even if I'm not really great at either. I also enjoy cooking and baking, though I would not consider myself a chef!
Music is another huge part of my life. I enjoy so many random genres, from classical and broadway to country and rock, that you'd really have to ask me if you want to know something more specific. I also enjoy singing, and have done performances in jazz, broadway, celtic, etc. I've also done some acting- but all this was just local stuff- it is not a career thing for me, just a really fun hobby.
Hm. Let's see..what else? I do have a pet cat, so if you hate them, I apologize in advance. I'm also a complete softy when it comes to feeding stray animals, I will admit. When it comes to sports- I like baseball, but I can tolerate most sports- just don't like to watch the games much unless it's something big like the superbowl. That said, if I ended up with a major sports fan I'm sure I'd end up hosting game day parties in spite of myself!
As to my goals and aspirations- I want to be a historian or professor, I am not sure which yet, perhaps eventually both. I also hope to explore a lot of the world- of course all over Europe, but most of the other continents as well. As for personal goals, I hope to someday have a nice home, not too big, with a lot of trees around it. I also hope to someday marry and have kids but if that isn't what fate has in store for me, that'd be okay too.
If you've read all this- congratulations! A gold sticker for you!

I think the ideal first date would be somewhere I could talk with the person in semi-privacy, having a nice dinner perhaps, or a picnic. I don't think movies would be ideal right away, because well, you can't really talk much.
I think my ideal date would be at an Italian diner of some sort, with a person who had a great deal to say, well read, but also laid back and comfortable with , who's a bit odd but very sweet. Basically, someone I have a lot in common with- but disagreements can be good too, especially if they don't mind a friendly debate!
