Hi, my name is Adam. I am 28, and a transplant from Georgia and Florida that has been here in the Portland area for about five years. I work a lot which doesn't leave me a lot of time to go out meeting new people. No kids, never married, have not even really dated on the west coast so you don't have to worry about crazies. :)

Being healthy means a lot to me. Over the last year and a half I have maintained a diet and worked to lose 100+ pounds. I am just starting to try to get into distance running, and pushing myself to drop smoking (my last real vice) by the end of they year. I am learning that is harder than advertised, but it will happen. I am not looking for a health nut by any stretch, but I would like to find somebody who cares about themselves.

I love music of all kinds, esp. punk, rockabilly, and ska, but I have a huge collection of all different types. I am an inactive musician, but I still like to play around by myself. I like art (surrealist mostly, though) and read when I can, goof around on video games like most guys (but would not let it get in the way of being with a person, it is something that I do to kill down time)... Not big into TV, but I love a good movie, grew up watching anime, and still nerd out on that every now and then, too.

I don't know what my ideal match is, really... I just want to get out, test the water, and see if I can find somebody that I can make smile. Best of luck on your hunt!

I am open to trying new and fun things, so if you could think of somewhere or something that you enjoyed I am probably down. When I choose I go ultra traditional, dinner and a movie type stuff, with drinks mixed in if that is your bag.
