In the interest of not having a "really lame" profile, let's launch in:

I am probably intelligent, possibly attractive, politically progressive, kind to animals, hygenic, non-toxic and non-fattening.

I have been a musician for many years and produced a few albums and artists in that time. Lately, I have been involved in theater and directed a couple of well received plays this year. I have managed to pursue these activities while maintaining equally rewarding "regular" careers first in government and then in the legal profession where I am able to apply my degree in political science to great advantage. So much for the career-y section.

I am a rabid film fan although my schedule has precluded me from attending the true church of cinema, the movie theater, for a number of months. I rely on Video on Demand for my fix, but it just isn't the same. My interest range from Pixar to Von Trier and everything in between. Musically, I am a soul/funk player and composer. As with all things artistic, I like to push boundaries but shy away from offending for offense's sake. The arts are best used to reflect the truths that lie within us all.

I value creativity and insight in others. I also value loyalty, kindness and courage from those around me.

There has to be a happy medium between needing an event coordinator and the ubiquitous "coffee" meeting. I think its best that two people meeting for the first time do it in a setting completely alien to both of them. Seeing someone in strange surroundings tells you a lot about who they really are. After a message or two, I suspect we can probably figure out something suited for our paticular blend.
