I'm a pretty non-serious guy who takes his interests very seriously.

I love to eat, drink and tromp around the world and I'm lucky enough to have a profession that lets me. Poker lured me while I was in school and somewhere along I stopped losing beer money and started winning wine money. As a career, it's fascinating, intellectually challenging and surprisingly exhausting. In the future I'd like to teach high school.

For now I spend my days exploring the city, looking forward to winters in Tahoe and burning too much money at Whole Foods.
