Where to start...

I'm 30 and divorced. I have a daughter who turns 3 in December, and is the light of my life. Because of that, I am not here to meet "one night stands". My priorities are different than a lot of single people out there. I work all the time, and when I am not working, I am cherishing my time with my baby girl. Would love to meet someone who can fit right in the middle somewhere. ;-)

I'm originally from the east coast, which basically means that I tell it like it is. I don't sugar coat, so if you are a man who gets his feelings hurt easily, you are not for me. Don't get me wrong....I am not rude by any means, but just don't ask me a question if you don't want an honest answer. I don't believe in lying.

I'm not the clingy girl. I have a lot going on and need a man who is secure and doesn't need me to check in with him every minute of the day. However, if I am really into you, I will make the time. ;-)

I need a smart, ambitious man. Someone who knows the difference between "your" and "you're". If you say things like "Hit Me Up" when asking a woman to call you, or "Peace" when ending a conversation, you are not for me. I need you to keep up with me - emotionally and intellectually. Please DO NOT contact me if you are still living the "frat boy" lifestyle, and partying like crazy. There is nothing less sexy than a grown man who is constantly drinking and partying like he is still in college!!

Lastly - I would rather date someone with children than without. This is mainly because I don't want any more children of my own (although I would happily welcome yours into my home).

I once had a man take me to a very expensive steakhouse and spend $500 on dinner for the both of us. Instead of being impressed, I was irritated. Irritated that he spent that much money on DINNER! You don't need to spend tons to impress a woman. My ideal date is dinner at a restaurant on the beach....and then maybe a walk on the beach afterwards.
