I have a zest for life and look toward each new day as another opportunity with exciting challenges. I have had a lot take place in the past that could have easily discouraged me, but through God's loving hands I have become a better man. I look forward to the years that are to come and also am ready to find the right woman who has the same love of life. People have said that watching me deal with my issues has made it easier for them to continue forging ahead. God deserves all the credit in that area, but I am thankful for the chance to be of service. I am interested in meeting new people in the quest to find that special one. I have to admit that I have been amazed by some of the profiles I've read up to this point. I also realize that it takes all kinds and also that I have no idea what other guys are writing. I understand that as we get older we get more definitive as to what we are looking for, but I have to say I didn't believe that woman would actually go as far as to even define how muscular they want their guy to be, how good he has to be at following directions , amount of hair on his head, even down to the size of his genitals. I don't mean to be crude, and not questioning the whys of this but how do you know until you communicate with someone to the point of dating them whether you actually can care for them. Are you really saying that if he isn't (well endowed, or 8 inches or better as a couple have on their profile)you already know he's not for you. I am not saying guys don't put this on their sites cause I really don't know what they're saying, but would you really talk to us if we started saying you had to be 38C or better or only a size 4 to 6 to be someone worthy of dating. I know it's not all woman but I do have to say that being on the site for a little over 3 wks. I am already disillusioned with a lot of what I've seen. I am not giving up but I have lost some faith in woman of my age. I guess we guys are no better. I really am looking for a wonderful woman and yes I would like to be attracted to her, I am definitely attracted to certain types, but I will be honest-I see beauty in many shapes and sizes of woman and I hope you feel the same about us guys. To be honest I really believe that our first date will depend on the person. I am very flexible in my interests and it may be as simple as a cup of coffee at a nice coffee shop, dinner and a movie, or a lunch date at a small sandwich shop. We will decide together and I definitely want to have your input. I'm past the age of trying to impress a woman with how creative I can be on my own.
