my education: I went to undergraduate university close to my current home but attended post-graduate studies, in addition to teaching English as a second language to Ethiopian immigrants at the University of Haifa in Northern Israel in a highly competitive International Honors Program.

favorite hot spots: I am undeniably addicted to taste experimentation and exotic or fusion cuisine (paired with great wines or a fab beer!)

Favorite travel spots I have had the great fortune to visit: Mexico (lived there), Ontario, Italy (Tuscany and Southern Italy, incl the famous Almalfi Coast and Capri), Spain, Israel (lived there), Jordan, England, Ireland, Netherlands, Greece & Naxos, Paros, Ios, Santorini, Turkey, Czech Republic, Austria, Egypt & the Sinai peninsula, Germany, Belgium, the Bermuda Triangle and lived to tell about it (lol), the Bahamas.

On my to-do list: Iceland, Romania, Hungary, China, Southeast Asia, the Ancient Silk Route, India, Seychelles, South Africa, Kenya, Madagascar, Malaysia, Island hopping in the South Pacific (Bora Bora), South America, the Spring Festival on Easter Island, the Galapagos

favorite things: These are a few of my favorite things: TRAVEL-backpack, poverty-jet-set style or Volun-tourism (of course), Indie films, Indie music, theatre, art shows, local band concerts, used books (they have "kizmit"), vintage art, light existentialism with a dash of humanism, wine tastings, poetry readings, meaningful thought and conversations, occasional total silence, candles, snow storms, snuggling by the fire, Girdwood, tall, furry men...

I want a real man. I want you to protect me when I'm scared. I want you to be my equal, my partner...this is not 1956.
