| | A little bit about me....well I am 32 years old. I have an 11yr. old son who means the world to me, and he is and will always be my number one priority!
I am employed at Borgess Pipp Hospital in the LTAC department.(long term accute care)
I have been there for almost 2 years. I love my job, I have always wanted to work in the health field. I am currently an nurses assistant, however I will be going back to school to school very shortly to finish up nursing school.
I have had alot of people tell me how sensative I am, I don't like to see anyone, or anything in pain or suffering. I will go beyond my job description at work to help the patients with anything they need, or want. I am a very giving person, and I am teaching my son to be the same way. In my spare time I enjoy working with the SPCA in finding homeless animals good homes. I love animals,all kinds. I currently have only 2 cats. Smokey, and Binks. Binks was a rescue. I brought him home, and was just gonna keep him until I could find a home for him, but I didn't have the heart to give him away. We bonded within the first few days, and I am attatched to him, and he follows me all over my house. I have always wanted more than one child, however the last pregnancy I had (almost 4 yrs ago) ended in miscarriage, I can't even begin to describe the hurt and anger I had for quite along time. I haven't dated in about 9 months or so, so I haven't tried to have a child. I think there are plenty of children out in the world who would love to have a home, so maybe someday I will be able to adopt a child.
I haven't really been looking for a date latley, I have just been laid back, very patient, and try to believe that when God sees it is time for me to meet my soul mate, he will send him to me. I am looking for someone I can look at as a friend at first, I don't believe two people can jump right into a relationship and have it work. All good things come in due time. |

A first date in my mind should be somewhere that both people can be comfortable. Some place we could talk, get to know eachother beyond the internet. We could go for coffee, then maybe a long walk in the beach. I don't believe there has to be any "time limit" on that first date...if things are going well, then we could possibly go to dinner, or whatever we decide. The first date should not be planned by just one person. I believe we should have a nice chat on the phone and learn eachothers likes and dislikes, and then go from there. The pressure needs to be limited on the first date, and if we plan together, we can achieve that. |
